Source hierarchy
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
- Randomized or controlled human studies.
- Observational human evidence.
- Mechanistic, animal or in-vitro evidence—clearly labeled.
- Absence of meaningful evidence.
Product evidence is separate
An ingredient study does not prove that a finished commercial product works. Exact-product trials, when verified, are recorded separately.
Freshness and limitations
Evidence summaries include a review date, confidence and limitations. A stale or incomplete source state remains visible.
