A score you can audit
NutraScore is a transparent 0–100 editorial decision model. It is not a medical-effectiveness rating, laboratory result or personalized recommendation.
Products don't become Favorites because we like them. They become Favorites by meeting our standards.

Calculate only verified inputs
Each available component is normalized from 0–100 and weighted. Missing fields do not silently become zero; instead, they reduce verification coverage and confidence. Documented red-flag penalties are capped at 20 points, and affiliate economics always have zero weight.
Keep confidence separate
Below 65% verified coverage, no overall score is published. Coverage from 65–84.9% may support a provisional score, but the product is excluded from rankings. At 85% or more, a product can become rank eligible if all other publication gates pass.
Verify testing claims
“Third-party tested” is not accepted on wording alone. Credit requires a traceable certification, laboratory record or certificate of analysis with enough scope, product identity and freshness to support the claim. NutraFavorites does not imply that it performed laboratory testing.
Show the evidence passport
Every future decision page will show component scores, verification coverage, confidence, label version, sources, price capture, limitations, affiliate status and update history beside the final number.
What NutraScore does not mean
A higher score does not prove that a product will work for an individual, replace professional care or establish that a finished formula was clinically tested. Ingredient evidence, exact-product evidence and label facts remain separate records.
Version history
Version 1.1 establishes seven consumer-readable dimensions, verification coverage and ranking eligibility. Scores retain their component values, source references, calculation time, penalty reasons and methodology version; a methodology update creates a new record instead of rewriting history.
