Calculation
Each verified component is normalized from 0–100, multiplied by its published weight, then reduced only by documented red-flag penalties. Total penalties are capped at 20 points. Affiliate economics have zero weight.
Separate confidence
High confidence means at least 85% of applicable weighted inputs were verified; Medium means 65–84.9%; Limited means below 65%. Missing information is not silently treated as poor quality.
Version history
Scores store component values, source references, calculation time, penalty reasons and methodology version. A new methodology creates a new version instead of overwriting history.
